Colloquium # 22: Revising the Political

You’re invited to a facilitated conversation about the political roots of fringe theatre, liberatory possibilities of artistic works, and corporatization of the creative sector. We will examine the intersections of community care / accountability around subject matter and censorship while reimagining potential futures of Fringe Halifax.

Facilitator Bio: Carmel Farahbakhsh is a mixed-race Iranian, trans queerdo, noise musician, art maker. They enjoy their work as coordinator of South House Sexual and Gender Resource Centre as well as a sexual health educator at Venus Envy Halifax.
