HIFF 2019 Presents: Visiting Filmmaker Masterclass Featuring Joaquín Cociña

The Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival Masterclasses feature world-class filmmaking talent in a series of daytime artist talks.

All masterclasses are in the BMO Community Room on the 2nd Floor of the Halifax Central Library. Free for passholders or $10 admission.  Passholders must show both their ticket and pass to gain admission to the Masterclass.

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn filmmaking approach and technique from Joaquín Cociña (La Casa Lobo).

 

About the Filmmaker:
Based in Santiago, Chile, Joaquín Cociña was born in Concepción, Chile in 1980. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Art from the Universidad Católica de Chile. Joaquín Cociña works independently and also with Cristobal León as a duo. His first full-length feature La Casa Lobo is co-directed by Cristóbal León, produced by DILUVIO and screening at HIFF 2019 on Wednesday June 12 at 9pm at Neptune Scotiabank Stage Theatre.
