Mozart’s masterpiece The Magic Flute is one of the most performed operas in the world. Its divine music and magical story full of twists and turns have endeared this opera to a public of all ages since it debuted in 1791. Mozart’s most tuneful, charming and magical child-friendly opera, in a brand new celtic-flavoured production!. With live musicians, wonderful young singers and some of the most beautiful music ever written, this will be an extraordinary event.

Sung in German, with projected English translations and English dialogue. Fully-staged and costumed and accompanied by piano, flute and cello. 

These performances feature talented young singers from across Canada and the United States in town for the 14th annual Halifax Summer Opera Festival, a competitive opera training program. This is an opportunity to hear first class young singers in an intimate venue.

If not sold out you can also buy tickets at the door.  HSOF Box Office will operate just outside each venue from 45 minutes before stated curtain time.
