Flamenco en Rouge presents Palmas and Cajón Workshop

Join Flamenco en Rouge musicians for a fun and exciting hour and a half of creating flamenco rhythms! All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Particpants will learn about flamenco, its different styles (or palos), and the percussion element of flamenco. They will learn to use their "palmas" (hands clapping) or their cajón to create that flamenco sound. The group will work on a Tangos de Triana, creating different rhythmic textures and variations. Guitar accompaniment will be provided to make a rich and full sound - OLE!!

Please bring your own cajón, if you own one. These can also be rented.
