Siddharthas Intent presents Khenpo Choying Dorje on Lojong, or Training and Transforming the Mind

This weekend will be devoted to the study of lojong, discipline of training the mind through the practice of awakened heart, or bodhicitta. Khenpo Choying Dorje is a Buddhist philosophy scholar, and the head principal and abbot of Dzongsar Institute in northern India, a major monastic university for the in-depth study of Buddhist philosophy and ethics. He received his khenpo degree, the equivalent to a Ph.D, in 2004 and since has traveled around the world teaching Buddhist philosophy. The Mahayana discipline of lojong is one of his areas of expertise. The weekend will consist of talks, question period, informal discussion and meditation.
