An unforgettable evening of music awaits as four of Halifax's best musicians pay tribute to the legendary Chet Baker. The quartet will perform trademark Baker tunes like My Funny Valentine, I Fall in Love Too Easily, Let's Get Lost, The Thrill Is Gone, Almost Blue, and many more!

Standing in for the "Prince of Cool" is trumpeter & vocalist Paul St-Amand, whose lyrical horn and understated yet expressive singing voice have earned raves. In 2017 he received a Music Nova Scotia nomination for Jazz Recording of the Year with his band Blue Spirits. He's also a member of Son Latino; twice last year they packed The Music Room with their popular tribute to Buena Vista Social Club.

"[St-Amand]’s trumpet playing is just that good. It really is a special sound." — Bill Roach, East Coast Music Hour (CBC Radio)

Backing up St-Amand on the Music Room's Steinway is piano wizard Silvio Pupo. He performs regularly with Three O'Cubano, and plays a weekly residency at The Local with The Damien Moynihan Trio, one of Halifax's most popular jazz nights.

On bass is the exceptional Jamie Gatti. Jamie tours and records with the Barra MacNeils, and leads his own jazz quintet The Riot Squad. He has released four solo bass albums, and earned multiple ECMA and Music Nova Scotia award nominations.

Drummer Brendan Melchin performs with Roxy & The Underground Soul Sound, Superfluid, Transatlantic Zodiac Ensemble, and more. He also composes original music and leads his modern jazz group The Forward Bound.
