Enjoy one of the Maritimes leading voices in orginal songwriting. Messick has a guitar style influenced by Bruce Cockburn, Richard Thompson and Joni Mitchell. His latest recording - available on all streaming services - was recorded at the Arcade Fire's studio in Montreal and Mixed in Halifax by Joel Plaskett. This event will feature both acoustic sessions - full of harmony and deft fingerstyle guitar - as well as a full set of rock, post-rock, and trad rock by accompanied by drums, bass and piano. The Maritime Conservatory offers a unique and central location to enjoy the performing arts. Come support a critically acclaimed but underground local legend and hear their latest ensembles.
