The Silk Road Project was founded in 1998 by cellist Yo-Yo Ma in an effort to share art and education across borders and genres.
Saeed is touring Nova Scotia to celebrate the Silk Road Project through the music of Irish composer Turlough O'Carolan, and the poetry of Persian poet Rumi, accompanied by harp, Hammer Dulcimer, Setar and Irish Flute.
