Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir returns to Windsor, Lunenburg, and Halifax to celebrate its eighth Christmas season. To Bethlehem With Kings offers a traditional and heart-warming evening of beautiful carols and hymns for Christmas, ancient and modern, performed by a choir of men and boys in the European tradition. The concert also features Paul Halley on pipe organ, Curtis Dietz on trumpet, and the Maritime Brass Quintet joining the ensemble for the final, Halifax performance.

Capella Regalis was founded in 2010 by director Nick Halley and is modeled on the centuries-old European tradition of men and boys church choirs. While Canada was once rich with such choirs, Capella Regalis is one of only a handful of men and boys choirs in Canada today. The choir is ‘in residence’ in both the University of King’s College Chapel, and the Cathedral Church of All Saints in Halifax, singing Evensongs regularly in the Cathedral as part of the “Sundays at Four” series, and special services in the King’s College Chapel. In addition, the choir performs concerts throughout Nova Scotia in a busy September – June season. In 2014, the choir released its debut CD, My Eyes for Beauty Pine. The choir's second CD will be released this December. The choir is a free program open to any boy age 6 - 12 who passes an audition. For the choir’s schedule of events and more information, visit
