Shout Out From the Inside: Life Story Monologues

TWO PERFORMANCES : 2:00PM & 7:00PM

A theatrical presentation of life story monologues created in collaboration with In My Own Voice (iMOVe) Arts Association, Actor Jacob Sampson and former Halifax poet laureate El Jones. Through collaborative mentorship inmates and former inmates will perform music, spoken word, personal monologues and theatre to communicate how who they have been has shaped who they have become and the struggles they face along their path towards their future selves.

Performers include: Drew, Nelson, Raphael, Tayshawn, Jodell, Lance, The Umoja Diversity Drummers and Rap performances.
