Lakeview: a live read

Lakeview is a queer ensemble comedy about a group of friends whose annual lake house weekend has been cancelled the past few summers by you-know-what. When they reunite, largely unfamiliar with each other's lives now—one of them has even gotten famous (well, indie famous)—there's karaoke, barfing, fireworks (literal/metaphorical), and drinks on drinks.

In development from Tara Thorne and Nicole Steeves, the director-producer team behind the Telefilm Talent to Watch recipient Compulsus, this is your chance to listen to an early draft of a movie that doesn't yet technically exist, as performed by some of your local faves, who definitely do.

This is a Canadian Actors’ Equity Association production under the Festival Policy.

šŸŽ Due to COVID-19 safety and hugely limited capacities šŸŽŸļø tickets are PRE-SALE ONLY! Current Phase 4 gathering restrictions make some venue capacities as small as 20 seats. We highly recommend (in fact, we insist) you book early and ideally in bubbles. Depending on the venue there will be minimum sales for bubbles. Happy Fringing and thank you for working with us to make Fringe happen safely and in person! šŸ’– All sales are final. We understand that not everyone has access to a credit card and not everyone plans on Fringing in a bubble. Halifax Fringe wants to make the ticket buying experience as accessible as possible. If you are experiencing any barriers in accessing tickets please email boxoffice@halifaxfringe.ca and we will try our best to find a solution !
