*Halifax Pride has cancelled the Dykes vs. Divas On Ice event scheduled for Saturday, March 21st in the interest of community health and safety.

Introducing Dykes vs. Divas On Ice! For the first time, the players are leaving the field and gliding into the rink. One part drag show, one part hockey game, Dykes vs. Divas On Ice will be a riotous good time. 

 

Dykes vs. Divas On Ice is an all ages event with equal parts hip pads and hip checking. Join us as the Divas Team, including kings, queens, genderf**k drag and more, faceoff against members of the Halifax Mussels 2SLGBTQ+ team. Watch as the geared up Mussels and glammed up divas fly down the ice. 

 

With thrills and chills, hockey plays and drag sashays, this is going to be an event like none other. After the performances and competition, we’ll end the night by awarding the winning team the all new DOUBLE D CUP! 

 

With proceeds going to support Halifax Pride’s Community Event Funding Program, providing funding for community organized festival events, you know you’ll have a great time while supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

 

So gear up and join us for a good ol’ hockey game!
