A Wine Club Social : My (not) Bloody Valentines

This Wine Club is a nod to all our vegan and plant-based pals out there, we've heard you, and this one's for you! Janie has prepared a menu that is 100% plant-based, featuring some great products from Real Fake Meats in Halifax. Tristan and Sonny will be picking wines that will of course also be un-fined so as to be 100% vegan friendly, and will be showcasing fun veggie based pairings.

The event is at Cafe Goodluck, and will start at 7pm sharp, and wrapping up around 9pm.

THE FOOD:

Tempura - tempura fried green beans, chili soy sauce & furikake spice

Samosa - curry spiced green pea Yukon gold potato & chickpea stuffed samosa, baked in phyllo pastry and served with apricot & tamarind chutney

Hassleback Potato - thinly sliced and baked potato topped with herb & garlic pesto, Real Fake Meats spirulina blue cheese, walnuts & sundried tomato agrodolce puree 

Pad Thai Satay - rice noodles, broccoli, bell pepper, bok choy & red onion cooked in a coconut & peanut sauce and served with cilantro & lime

Taco - house made soft tortilla, Real Fake Meats ground round, queso ‘cheese’ sauce, corn, black beans & chimichurri

Dessert - cookie!
