A Journey through the senses from the Heart of Spain

7.30pm Doors open
Parking available at both sides of the building

8pm Performance by Maria Osende Flamenco Co.
featuring Maria Osende, La Azulita and Valentine La Morena, (dance), Bob Sutherby (guitar), Joyce Saunders and Lisa Myers (vocals)
The evening will start at 8pm with an inspiring performance featuring a stellar cast. Together they will to set the tone for the night with a passionate opening number, followed by solo dance and musical pieces. Singers Lisa Myers and Joyce Saunders, along with Bob Sutherby, have prepared a special Valentine-themed treat for you! The show will take place at the Lillian Piercey Hall.  This majestic and elegant concert hall on the second floor of the Maritime Conservatory of the Performing Arts has wonderful acoustics and will certainly add a very special feel to the event.

9.15pm Dessert time!

After the performance, we will move to the dessert and dance room across the hall. We have prepared a wonderful assortment of Spanish and classic Valentine treats. These have included vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options. If you have very specific dietary restrictions, please let us know at the time that you purchase your ticket by emailing us at info@mariaosende.com. All  ingredients may have come in contact peanuts or groundnuts.

9.45pm A Latin dance lesson (Bachata) with Audrey and Siggi and dance party.

ASSORTED DESSERT TASTING

Enjoy rich introductions to Spanish sweets! Guests will choose 3 desserts from our assortment of Spanish and classic Valentine treats.  First as you enter the dessert room, a second from the cake table and a third with your refreshment, coffee and tea. We have gluten-free and vegan options. All ingredients may have come in contact with peanuts or groundnuts.

1.Welcome Tray:

  • Almendrados - Spanish almond pastry  (gluten-free)
  • Polvorones - Spanish almond pastry
  • Tocino de Cielo - Heaven’s Jelly (yolk-rich custard, gluten and lactose-free)
  • Turron inspired white and dark chocolate fudge

2.Choose a treat form the Cake Table:

  • Mini Chocolate Cheesecakes with Chocolate Ganache Topping
  • Lemon Cashew Vegan Cake with Blueberries (vegan, gluten-free, raw)
  • Ponche Segoviano - Marzipan Cake (lactose-free, contains nuts)
  • Tarta de Santiago  - Almond Cake (lactose-free, contains nuts)

3.Third Treat with Coffee and Tea:

  • Chocolate truffles (gluten-free)
  • Chocolate dipped strawberries (vegan and gluten-free)
  • Meringue Swirl Cookies (gluten-free)
  • Miguelitos - Puff pastries filled with chocolate cream

DRINKS
Refreshments, coffee, black and green tea selection, water.
