HIFF Presents... SCREENING: By Invitation

This striking and wide-ranging program of short films was selected by visiting programmers from Toronto International Film Festival, Edmonton International Film Festival, Festival du nouveau cinema, and Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur.
 

Programmers Jason Anderson, Kerrie Long, Émilie Poirier, and Delphine Jeanneret watch thousands of shorts from all over the world every year and select the best to play at their festivals. This screening will showcase some of their favourites and provides a glimpse into the kind of work that is making an impact on the international festival circuit. Guest programmers will be at the screening to introduce the films and answer questions about their respective festivals. 

A Q+A period with the visiting programmers will follow "By Invitation"
