After a one year hiatus, the hottest live-art-battle-game-show-
Eight courageous warriors will step into the Agricola Street Brasserie arena to do battle: Poet vs Playwright, Fiction vs Non-Fiction, Screen Writer vs Spoken Word, each one determined to bring honor to their discipline - and take home the title of Halifax's Deadliest Writer.
Three rounds of elimination!
Each holds more surprises than the last.
Writers from different genres go head to head, with YOU - the audience - determining the victor of each match, until only one is left standing! The winner will be declared champion - the rest will be put to death.*
Write For Your Life is a Doppler Effect Productions fundraiser. Proceeds from this year's installment go entirely toward our upcoming world premiere of King of Berlin - an original musical by deadly writer/composer duo Kristin Slaney and Garry Williams.
