The Heart of Communication
Do you long for genuine heartfelt connection with others? Are you frightened by conflict? Ready to move beyond old habits and routine exchanges? Then this workshop is the perfect way to begin a NEW YEAR!

Jan 13: 6:30 - 9pm, Jan 14: 9 - 5pm, & Jan 15: 9 -3pm

This event has passed.

For many of us respecting one another and the desire to be understood are essential human values.  This weekend will introduce you to the process of compassionate communication based on the principles of Non-violent Communication (NVC), the work of Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D.  We’ll practice becoming more conscious of what we are observing, feeling, needing and requesting.  Through discussion and small group encounters, we will become familiar with NVC and reframing our habitual styles of communication…with quite a few laughs along the way.

Friday:     6:30 - 9:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (with lunch break 12:30 - 2:00pm)

Sunday:   9:00am - 3:00pm (with lunch break 12:00 - 1:00pm)

COST: $115 (includes snacks, tea, coffee, juices…you bring your own lunches)

FACILITATORS: Ron Renz and Soledad Gonzalez

Ron and Soledad have each completed a 9-day international intensive training in NVC.  They have introduced the “Heart of Communication” to individuals and social service groups locally in recent years and led a well-received NVC weekend for couples this past February in Tatamagouhe.
