Join renowned actor and comedian Mary Walsh as she interviews Dr. David Goldbloom about his new book, HOW CAN I HELP? A week in my life as a Psychiatrist. 

One of the country’s most influential psychiatrists, Dr. Goldbloom is Senior Medical Advisor at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto and former Chair of the Mental Health Commission of Canada. He is also a Rhode Scholar, Officer of the Order of Canada, former Haligonian and a very funny guy.

Her work as an actor, comic and writer on shows such as CODCO and This Hour has 22 Minutes is what first brought Mary Walsh to the public eye but today she’s almost equally well-known for her role as social activist. She has addressed the United Nations Global Conference on Development, has been a spokesperson for Oxfam and is a member of The Order of Canada. She’s also been honoured with eighteen Gemini Awards. 

LOVE NS provides youth who have experienced violence with skills and support they need to make positive and healthy life choices. LOVE NS runs programs within Halifax as well as Sipekne’katik and Membertou First Nations.
