Sickboy + Dub Kartel

On Wednesday, September 28th, Sickboy Podcast will be teaming up with reggae-dance giants, Dub Kartel! Bring your bootys down to The Seahorse Tavern here in Halifax for a night of laughs, disease talk, banging beats and all for a good cause. We'll be raising money for Mental Health Nova Scotia with a killer silent auction brought together by some of the cities sickest small businesses! 

Sickboy Podcast is hilarious, ridiculously insightful and absolutely determined to break down the stigma associated with illness and disease! The show started with three best friends who recognized that when faced with difficult situations, illnesses and diseases, people tighten up, they get awkward, and they simply don't know what to say. Taking the lead from Jeremie's life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, the boys help people understand that sometimes the best way to deal with illness, disease and life is simply to laugh.

Dub Kartel is a live 7-piece B'y band forged through years of friendship, hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia - these guys strive to create a seamless blend of world beats & hardcore reggae anthem's. Always throwing down creative mashups, they push for a new musical experience at every show to take the party to the next level. With every stage they conquer, this band is making fellow Maritimer's beam with pride.
