Eastern Front Theatre is once again yelling ‘hooray for Hali-Wood!’ The Halifax-based theatre company is thrilled to present Hali-Wood Squares, a hilarious spoof game show that delivers more laughs than you can shake at a snow-blower.

Based on the popular and similarly named long-running TV game-show, which we won’t mention for fear of a lawsuit, EFT’s Hali-Wood Squares will feature many of Halifax’s most Hali-famous names, pitted against each other in an hilarious battle of wit.

Host JC Douglas of C100, will invite audience members to take part as contestants or simply sit back and experience a live game show, right here in Halifax. In the winter, when we all need a good warming laugh.

This year EFT has musical performances by special guest, singer/songwriter Ian Sherwood.

Hali-Wood Squares is a fun light-hearted event where the crowd gets up close and personal with some of the city’s most impressive stars. It’s a way for Eastern Front to celebrate East Coast talent, bring all of our supporters together, and help raise the funds that make our season of Atlantic Canadian productions possible.
